This April, we get to see a number of power houses such as Tracy Morgan and Sandra Oh returning to television in new epic shows.
Here are five shows we are excited for:
- The Last O.G.
Starring comedy heavyweights such as Tracy Morgan, TIffany Haddish and Cedric the Entertainer, The Last O.G. tells the very real story of a man, Tracy (Morgan) who is released from prison after 15 years and finds that his girlfriend, his neighborhood and the world has changed.
Premiere: 03 April on TBS
- Killing Eve
Bringing together Sandra Oh and Julie Comer as Eve and Villanelle. Eve is a desk-bound MI5 security officer, and Villanelle is a talented assassin. And the two are hunting each other down in a game of cat and mouse, as they become obsessed with one another.
Premiere: 08 April on BBC America
- Howard’s End
Based on the novel by E.M. Forster and starring Hayley Atwell, Matthew MacFayden and Tracey Ullman. The social and class divisions in early 20th century England through the intersection of three families – the wealthy Wilcoxes, the gentle and idealistic Schlegels and the lower-middle class Basts.
Premiere: 08 April on Starz
- Lost in Space
A reboot of the classic 1960’s sci-fi series, it is set 30 years in the future when colonisation in space is a reality, and the Robinson family is amongst those who are selected to create a better world. But when they find themselves taken offroute, they have to make new lives for themselves away from where they originally planned.
